I hope by this time all will be aware of guest blogging. So, in this post I am not going deep into what is guest blogging, instead I will talk about how to get more traffic to your website from your guest posts. I will let you know some strategies or tips that you can follow to get more traffic than that of the traffic that you get from ordinary guest posts that you wrote just like writing on your blog.

1) Write Quality Content
Content is supreme, and quality is at the pinnacle of content So, make sure the guest post that you are submitting is of good quality and has good information in it. All tips mentioned below will work well only if your content is of good quality. So first priority must be given for quality.

2) Choosing Where To Guest Blog

3) Try To Get Your Post Into The Most Commented List
Every blog maintains a most commented list, I mean “Most Popular” blog posts list. If you get your guest post into that list then you blog will be seen on homepage under Most Commented List for a long time. So your guest blog will have a long term influence in their blog, which will be keep on sending some traffic to your website  until your guest post is pushed down out of the most commented list.

So how to get your post in to the most commented list? Write your article in such a way that it will tempt the readers to leave a comment. Here are some tips that will help you to write such articles: 11 Tips To Increase Your Blog Comments

Also you can read the “Most commented” list topper post to see why so many comments were made in that post and you can check if there are some strategies used, if there are some strategies used then you can use them on your guest post too.

4) Add 2 Links To Your Website Inside Your Guest Post
While writing guest post, don’t forget to include 2 links to your website and also make sure that you include links casually. Don’t make the readers to feel you are writing guest post to get traffic even though that’s the reason for writing.

Including links casually will bring your more traffic than including like this: My name is , and I blog at .

5) Talk A Few Lines About You And Your Product
Try to speak something about you and your products for just 2 lines. Make it short and sweet, but remember don’t add links in the lines where you are speaking about you, because you have to add links in casual way inside the post. Write two lines, that will be very attractive that it can pull some visitors to your site.

Adding links inside your post will also get you a backlink.

6) Blog About A Completely New Topic
Before you start to think for a topic to guest blog about, go the blog where you have decided to write the guest post, and try to find out the topic that is not blogged there before. So, when you post is published, you content will be new to their blog’s readers. Which will increase the interest of the readers on your post and on your blog.

7) Don’t Write A Long Article
I have seen people writing a long articles filled with stories as an example. They just try to expand their article where bring comments like “Your article was so long that I stopped reading”. Writing stories is good when you write an E-book, but it’s not so good for blog posts.

You like readers to read your article completely right? So, try to be explain that fact or information shortly but effectively. Which people like to read.

Hope it was helpful :)
