This is one of my favorite video downloading site , this is ad free and easy to use. All you need to do is just copy and paste the link, wait for few seconds. Right click and select “Save link as…” your video gets downloaded. Be cautious about the background image displayed, though the images are of classic touch not so good to be used in work places.
A simple video downloading website service. Copy paste URL, video gets downloaded. Additionally it gives information about some top videos and their URL.

This video downloading site comes with additional options like you can know about some most viewed videos, top downloads, all time favorites, latest videos and more. Downloading pattern is same as the others. It is little different from other video downloading sites.
NetVideoHunter is a firefox add-on. It helps you to download video from any video downloading site. You can download Youtube videos in different qualities. Beware of the cookies. Using a search engine, such as Yahoo! or Google, run a Web search for video clips and download the video files onto your computer. Most of the time you can just right-click the file and choose “Save As” and then name the file and click OK.

Great software for downloading videos, also it is much better if you have a better internet speed to enjoy downloading video.
Thanks for the recommendations! I did not know about most of those softwares as I’ve been using IDM mostly for the past couple of years but it is now not working too well with later browsers so I’ve been looking for other solutions to download web videos.

Awesome tips. Have you encountered any issues with viruses, malware, or any of those other things we all strive to avoid? It’s always nice to have some videos tucked away while you have internet, then enjoy them later when on a flight.
Take care and thanks for the post!
Ryan
I don’t think it is possible to pick up any malware via a video file but be care about flashing links on the video page itself as those might link to sites containing malware.

This is some interesting stuff. I watch a lot of videos online but I get sick of seeing the “buffering” box and I hate seeing that circle in the video when you are 1/2 way though and your enjoyment is interrupted. I often wondered if I could download it.
I often use VideoDownloadX.com, I find this the easiest website to use to download buffering videos
